Starmon mini
The Starmon mini
is an underwater temperature recorder available with graphic software and
communication cable. Starmon mini records the temperature at a user
selected sampling interval and stores the data into a non-volatile memory
under the control of a microprocessor. Data is retrieved by connecting
the communication cable between Starmon mini and a PC computer. When
data has been downloaded with the supporting Windows software, it can be
processed and presented in graphs and in tabular form. Data can be
exported into other data processing software packages. The software
also allows the user to define the starting time and sampling interval
of measurements.
The Starmon mini is designed for use in oceans, rivers and lakes. Atthachement holes on both ends make it easy for fastening at the subject area. Starmon mini is mainly used in the fields of marine biology, oceanography, limnology, aquaculture and hydrology for studying temperature fluctuations over a period of time.
