Since 1993, the DST tags have been used in oceans and
waters around the world. The newest addition to the DST family is the centi.
The DSTcenti is smaller, has more user customability and is more economical
(see specification
).

The DSTcenti was originally designed to be used as a depth and temperature
logger for tagging various fish species both internally and on the exterior.
The DST has given scientists valuable data for their researches, e.g. information
about the behaviour of fish migration and distribution in the oceans.
However, their compact nature and corrosive resistance shell they fit in many
different applications (fuel tanks,Temp. profiling, animals etc). |
