Technical Characteristics

The encoder MGI is designed for absolute measuring of mechanical positions ( angular displacement, lift, distance, travel) of positioining elements. The displacement to be measured is conveyed by gear wheel, chain, lever, universal joint-shaft, etc. to the input shaft of the transmitter. The compact and robust design as well as the simple assembly enable a wide range of applications.
Signal processing within the unit is continuously digital by a micro-controller. The transmitter may be set on-site by an operating unit with display or remote via HART / LON fieldbus connection. Position lineriasation is available by programming an integrated look-up table. Perfect function of the transmitter is surveyed by cyclic self tests.

Clamp-on Angle transmitter GVI (RIVERT)

Angle position transmitter in encapsulated housing (IP 67, submersible(optional)) with gravity pendulum as vertical reference. Simple mounting on gates, flaps, drawbridges and other rotating equipment having an angular motion and a horizontally arranged shaft. There are no gearing or coupling problems.
