SDI-12 Depth Sensor

Short Description

The pressure transducers of the series MPSDI are designed to measure pressure and water level with high accuracy (better 0.01ft.). The transducers are available either as submersible unit connected to a vented cable for error-free compensation of barometric pressure changes or as thread mount type used e.g. in connection with a bubbler system. The incorporated electronics compensates nonlinearity and also temperature variations in a wide range resulting in an increased overall accuracy.

The SDI-12 compatible serial-digital interface enables output of pressure, level and temperature values as well as the user-specific programming of the sensors in a multidrop bus confuguration. Via the SDI-12-interface, MPSDI pressure sensors can be connected to computers, data loggers etc. by means of a shielded three wire cable Recalibration, free adjustement of offset and measuring-span (scaling) and choice of output-parameters are possible. Low power circuitiy combined with a sleep-mode keeps power consumption down to an absolute minimum.
