HYDROPOWER
Advanced Measurements & Controls, Inc. provides the Pacific Northwest with Hydropower instrumentation.  You will find our instruments on rivers such as the Columbia, Willamette, Snake and Snoqualime and Hydroelectric projects like Bonneville, Rocky Reach and the Grand Coulee (pictured) to name a few. With well over a hundred Hydroelectric projects in the Northwest, it is no wonder that they are the Northwest number one source for electricity.

Advanced Measurements carries instrumentation for flow, position, pressure and water quality.  The Risonic 2000 is a highly accurate way to measure flow in pen stocks, large pipes and open channels.  The Risonic 2000 utilizes the latest in ultra sonic flow methodology.  To measure gate angles we offer two solutions.  The Ripos is a robust shaft encoder.  Second, the Rivert is a unique instrument that measures the absolute angle.  It's unique design works using a potentiometer and is great for all horizontal axis angle measurements.  To measure head and tale, trash rack differential and stage Advanced Measurements offers a wide variety of pressure/depth sensors.  Finally, our water quality instrumentation from Stevens Greenspan measures DO, pH, Conductivity, Temperature, Ammonium and turbidity.  Stevens Greenspan offers the only water quality sensors designed for true long-term water monitoring.
