The Beamex DPS4 System is a product created through European cooperation. The Differential Pressure Standard was developed in order to improve both the productivity and the accuracy of offshore calibrations. The new calibration consept for differential pressure transmitters presents totally new innovative thinking. The DPS4 allows the calibration of differential pressure transmitters with low differential pressure under high static pressure.
Until today, differential pressure transmitters used in offshore environment have been removed from the process to be transported to a land based laboratory for calibration with differential dead weight testers and then brought back to the process installation. The DPS4 allows high accuracy calibration of differential pressure transmitters in-situ and thus highly improves the productivity. Also, as the calibration is done in situ, errors caused by temperature change and transportation are eliminated.
Specifications are based on preliminary test results.
